The GCC was established on July 15, 2008 to promote Chess in our local community. We have a core group of 15-20 players with USCF ratings ranging from 500 to 1800. Anyone interested in chess is welcome to attend our meetings each Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:00 pm in the Friends room of Georgetown Public Library.
